3KONA provides quoting software to 3D-printing shops. When a shop’s customer requests a quote, the shop is the data fiduciary (the party deciding how the data is used) and 3KONA acts as a data processor on the shop’s behalf.
From a customer requesting a quote: name, email, phone number, and the 3D model file and settings needed to price and produce the part. From a shop: account and business details, machines, materials, and pricing configuration.
To generate quotes, deliver them to the customer and the shop, manage orders, and operate and secure the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Customers consent to being contacted about their quote at the point of submission. You may withdraw consent or request deletion by contacting the shop or us.
Quote and customer data is shared only with the shop the request was made to, and with sub-processors we use to run the service (hosting, email, payments), under appropriate safeguards. We do not share data across shops.
When a customer pays a shop through Razorpay, the payment is processed by the shop’s own Razorpay account under Razorpay’s privacy policy. 3KONA passes the order amount and contact details needed for checkout, and never sees or stores card, UPI PIN or bank login details. UPI and bank transfers go straight to the shop. A shop’s Razorpay keys are stored encrypted and are never shown in the app.
Shops paying for a 3KONA plan are billed by 3KONA through Razorpay. We keep the billing and GST invoice records the law requires.
Model files and quote data are retained while needed to service the quote/order and as required by law, then deleted or anonymised.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and raise a grievance. Contact the shop you dealt with, or reach us via the details on our site.
